Logic4motion Motor Control Kit
A cost effective development kit for motor control applications
L4M kit allow you to explore the potential and functionality of a FOC motor control implemented in FPGA using the Xilinx HLS for Zynq platform. The capability of executing motor control algorithms in hardware, instead of a classic micrprocessor, allows to have deterministic control cycle with time of order of a few microseconds, a characteristic not obtainable with normal microprocessors used for this kind of applications. This fact makes it possible to control electric motors that require very high performance in terms of control dynamics, and also to take advantage of the new generation of power devices as SIC and GAN
